Local Specialties:
- First courses: pici all’aglione: pici pasta with aglione sauce (with olive oil, garlic, chili pepper and tomato); pici al ragù, pici pasta with meat sauce;
- Second courses: rostinciana, grilled pork ribs, salsiccia e fagioli, sausage and beans.
A very ancient sagra, this year reaching the half century. Pici is one of the few Tuscan pasta, usually made in an area from southern Siena province to a part of Arezzo province. Sugo all'aglione is a tomato sauce with a special, local garlic, while sugo di carne, also known as ragù, is made with veal meat.
On friday and Saturday evenings there will be music for the youngest, which means disco and DJ set, on Sunday a traditional ballroom orchestra with classic standard music like waltz, tango, foxtrot, Latin, etcetera.
