In Cana village, it's the festival of the "biondina", in Italian "small blonde", i.e. the roasted chestnut! You can taste many mythical dishes made with chestnuts such as the castagnaccio, a very ancient cake made with chestnuts flour; the chestnuts polenta, a staples for all the mountain Italian people; or the chestnuts jam. Other season product, mushrooms, will largely be available on the menu and we wouldn't miss the polenta with mushrooms sauce!

Regarding the roasted chestnuts, it's one of the pleasures of Autumn season and in Cana, you can have them with a red wine glass, as the local cellars will be open to give the possibility exactly for this purpose.

Notice that Friday will be a sort of beginning of the festival, and the main festival days are Saturday and Sunday. Street music and other events are scheduled during the week end.
